The Bridgwater Lawn Tennis Club aims to ensure the privacy of all members. Our privacy notice outlines the data we collect and why we need it.
The vast majority of the data stored by the club is on current members. After becoming a member, your details are kept within the club and are not shared with any third parties. The information we hold about you is that provided by you when completing the Application Form (including name, contact information and address) plus the date of any subsequent renewal payment of your subscription. We need this data in order for you to be a member of the club.
Our website also collects some information on users. This comes from the contents of any enquiry forms submitted on the site. The information from these forms will be sent via email, to select members of the committee. Due to the inherant insecure nature of emails, we would strongly advise that any information deemed sensitive should be sent to the intended recipient through other, more secure means, as we can make no guarantees that the emails will be received correctly, without interception.
As part of our compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), all individuals have the right to access the data we store about them, as well as request any changes, or to be erased. In order to submit a GDPR request, please use the contact form on this page, or email the chairman directly using the contact details found here
